Hello Friends! Yesterday I spent the day watching a show called Is It Cake (which was actually really good??) and laying around in bed. I did go outside once, but only because I had to.
I need days like this every once in a while, but I still haven’t learned how to let myself have them without feeling some level of guilt, like I need to be doing something else. Not necessarily working, but some sort of “active rest,” like reading or going for a walk, or crafting. These “do nothing” days often coincide with my menstrual cycle, which is painful and drains me of all energy.
So, what do you do when you need to do nothing? Is it easy for you? How do you feel while you’re doing it? Tell me about it! I’d love to hear everything you’re willing to share.
I am pregnant and feeling very sick most days right now. I did the same thing as you yesterday and watched Is It Cake?. I was pleasantly surprised how enjoyable this show was! I hope you feel better soon. Sending hugs
