Hello everyone! This morning you are welcome to join us for Inspiration Station (from 830am-10am EST). Whether you join us or not, please feel free to share your weekly aspirations and goals here in this thread! This is a *new* Monday thing, and it will happen here each week! You can share anything writing related and waaaay beyond. And don’t hesitate to share an accomplishment as well!
Another way you can engage here is to share something that inspired you last week.
Last week was really challenging for me, but something I did manage to accomplish was a recalibration of my schedule that feels much more supportive. I always want to be the kind of writer who wakes at 5am, but unfortunately my workload is too heavy for that right now, and I can never get to bed early enough. So I decided to become the kind of writer who wakes up later and is better rested.
I also did my morning pages nearly every day!

Last week I listened to a lovely interview with the artists Jammie Holmes (on the Cerebral Women Art Talks podcast, which is a new fave). I’ve seen Jammie’s art before, but to hear Jammie speak on his relationship to art, his process, and how he became an artist was super inspiring.
Read about Jammie, listen to him speak about his art, and see some of his paintings here.
Inspiration Station was, well, inspiring this morning. I’m learning to make the transition to full-time writing, which means improving my self-discipline. It’s Autumn, a time of year where I need to be among trees, and I will get out in the woods even though I am not teaching this fall. It’s going to be a good week.
