"PTSD and CPTSD dissolve the borders between past and present" and "I must rest when I need to rest." Two tremendous truths. Hoping for some relief your way, at least from the physical symptoms. We learn to accept as best we can, but it's also nice to have a reprieve! As well as some headspace to recenter. 🧡

Thank you so much Antonia. That reprieve and that recentering— I am leaning in as much as I can in the midst of so many demands, and finding moments of quiet and gratitude, which is a gift in itself. Always grateful for your kind words and insight.

Please rest. You are such a gift, your words are a gift, but you are so much more than what you produce for us here. I am grateful for you, friend. And I will gladly read whatever you send us, whenever you send it.

I am left speechless whenever I read your essays. Dreadfully sorry about the hives! I’m glad you’re sleeping and meditating and doing all the things to take care of yourself. Maybe give yourself permission to just let one thing go. Maybe one newsletter next month? No one is judging you harder than you judge yourself.

Thank you Robin. This is good advice to let myself off the hook, and I will do my best to take it. I am so grateful for your kind words and support.

I'm a new subscriber and I love your work! I'd seen a piece on Woolf's dead moth story and cannot find it now. Can you help?

Thank you!

Hi Kimi! It's in the archives! those can be hard to navigate but I think I posted it last summer, around July maybe? You may have to do some scrolling back in time. Also, if you search the pub and plug in "Woolf" it may come up. If you still have trouble finding it let me know! And thank you so so much for subscribing! I am so glad you're here.
