I am so - so so so so - excited about this!! This is exactly the kind of community I’ve been looking for, as someone who is very intimidated by/not living a life that typically suits the academic side of writing, which is the only place I thought I’d be able to find a writing community. I don’t have the resources to attend an undergrad/MFA writing program, and lately I have started to fear that my lack of formal academic experience will be the thing that forever hinders me from consistently participating in a community of like-minded writers. The thought that I can somehow continue the hourly work that is currently sustaining me financially while also having access to a welcoming space to write in -- with a community who is also excited to write together!! -- is simply magical. Thank you, thank you, thank you for doing this.
oh gosh, i feel this so much, having never managed to even apply to an MFA and always feeling like I was missing out. (Not anymore; I like being alone in my room, but also, these Inspiration Station sessions help, the other writer friends I've made help!)
