I’m so happy you are here in Seattle for a little while longer. Moving here from someplace where the people are warm and friendly was a pretty big culture shock for me. Maybe coming out of the pandemic will inspire the Seattle freeze to thaw a little, as they might start to appreciate each other? A girl can dream.

I am so happy our paths crossed and hope to spend more time with you before I leave. We can hold out for that in Seattle, or maybe you can start a "we used to lived in the midwest" club! Haha. I would join that club even though I didn't.

Another great one. Your rambles are often the best.

Thank you so much Denise! That means a lot to me. I love writing my rambles and it always amazes me that my little scribbles can resonate with others.

Hi Stacy,

I'm an outsider two! :)

Feeling proud to be at the intersections on many aspects of my way of life, it's both hard and joyful but i would not live another life.

I also try to preserve my art though i got no savings too. We know what keeps us alive inside. Buy money shouldn't be this incompatible topic with art... ok I stop here, cause i might write a whole letter!

We try to deal with the social pressure, think we do our best and we worth much self compassion and celebration.

Just wanted to say "hey, you're doing great and we are quite a few weirdos here, so hello!" ;)

I so appreciate this! Us outsiders can find a deep understanding with each other, I think. And I also hope that someday the money thing won't be such a struggle, but if it is, so be it...
