Writing for Discovery
A mini-workshop (free for subscribers!)
How often do we get time to write aimlessly, or towards a question rather than an answer?
Join me on Saturday, February 26th at noon (PST) for a generative writing session. We’ll check in briefly, then spend about an hour working with prompts, artwork, and stories to inspire creativity and openness.
This is not a workshop where you will be asked to share your work. It’s a space for you to explore writing, unfold and expand your ideas and narrative urges, and maybe even discover new stories and projects. I’ll be holding the container. All you need to do is bring your full, messy self, a pen and some paper (or your writing devices of choice).
I’ve been thinking a lot about productivity lately, and how so much of what we do is a means to an end. I’m creating this space in the hopes that it can be an open field of curiosity rather than a forms or craft class. This may become a regular offering for newsletter subscribers.
Writers (and non-writers) of all levels are welcome.
