Hello! If you find yourself reading and enjoying these emails often, please consider becoming a paying subscriber. Your subscriptions literally help keep my writing alive. You can also forward this (and any) email to others, take screenshots, and share widely! Invite your writer friends to Sessions!
We’re coming back together on Friday, so please join me so we can write together! This session is from 10:30am-12pm.
Is there something you’ve been putting off? A project you need to start, restart, or finish? Research that needs to be conducted?
Join us tomorrow for a writing/work session. Anyone is welcome! You can share what you’re working on or keep it to yourself. I’ll be working on my book revisions (due Monday), but I know some participants work on weekly organization, research, poems, fiction, or their own newsletters.
At noon, when the Session ends, I am offering a Q & A session for all writers, about anything pertaining to publishing, writing, agents, etc. You can pop in at noon if you would rather just participate in the Q & A.
Anyone can join!
This space is for anyone needing some space to write/work, from artists, writers, and academics to entrepreneurs, freelancers, and bloggers.
Come as you are. You can Zoom in from your bed or a coffee shop or your desk— wherever you feel comfy.
We’ll check in right at 1030, and then work for 80 minutes. At 12pm I’ll stop the session for anyone who wants to share and chat. Then we will start the Q & A.
These sessions have been incredibly productive for all participants. There’s something about writing with others, even if it’s over Zoom, that helps with creativity and productivity. Writing is such a solo pursuit; we’re often alone in rooms for hours on end. This is a way to spend some of your writing time building community. It’s inspiring for me to hear what everyone’s working on. There are so many amazing things being dreamed up out there!
If you don’t consider yourself a capital W Writer, please come. If you’re an artist working in another medium, come. If you’re a professional, freelancer, or small business owner who needs to work on your website or client emails: come. All are truly welcome!
