Introducing the Entropical Paradise Book Club
A low-key book club for discussing books on the level of craft as well as content
Hello All!
Yes, you read that right.
Every month we’ll be reading one full-length book of fiction, nonfiction, or poetry and discussing it via open thread (and possibly live on Zoom) during the last week of the month.
I’ve chosen THE ROUND HOUSE by Louise Erdrich for our inaugural book. THE ROUND HOUSE is a book about a sexual assault which occurs on tribal land. It’s told through the lens of one narrator. Erdrich is a master of fiction— her short story “The Red Convertible” is one of my all time favorites. I think this is an excellent book to start us off on our journey.
If you have suggestions of books you’d like to read, feel free to drop them in the comments. I’ll be sending out a list of books soon so we can choose what we’d like to read in April.
Excellent! I got a copy from my lokal library. I don’t read enough fiction, so this will be good for me.
