Writers!
Join me this Friday for a yoga nidra practice. Yoga Nidra is practiced laying down in a restful position. One hour of yoga nidra is equivalent to four hours of sleep! This is due to the brain waves you’ll pass through on your way to deep rest.
Yoga nidra is essentially a guided relaxation that helps the body and mind soften and rest. If you’ve never done it, you’re in for a treat. If you have done it, then you may know what I am talking about!
All you need is yourself, several blankets and pillows, an eye pillow (optional), and a quiet space to lay down. If you can’t find a quiet space just use your headphones. Make sure you won’t be interrupted.
Also, bring a journal and pen, because one of the best things about nidra is the freewrite that comes when you are finished.
Join me this FRIDAY at noon PST. Please arrive on time and prepared to rest.
